Thanksgiving Day Football Game
With Southington High School - November 27, 2003

The following photographs were taken at the Cheshire High School Field located just to the west of Cheshire High School. The annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game is a long standing tradition and Cheshire has been playing Southington in this game for the past several years. The longest lens I had at this time was a 300mm f2.8 IS Canon beauty but it's reach was not quite what I would have liked. Next year I expect to be using my newly acquired 400mm f2.8 and hope to get some 'Sports Illustrated' type closeups!
