vs Murray State football, Rentschler Field September 4, 2004

The following photos were taken at the University of Connecticut - Murray State football game on September 4, 2004. This was held game held at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. We arrived at about 9:15, well in advance of the 12 noon kickoff time and joined the thousands of other fans tailgating around the stadium. Most of the tailgaters I do not know but were gracious enough to let me take their photographs. It seemed that everyone was having a great time! So was I until I was denied entrance to the stadium with my camera. It seems now that no cameras are allowed in the stadium. This certainly was a major downer for me as photographing the game is a major part of being there! I just don't understand why in a state facility for a state university game photography would be prohibited.
All of these photographs were shot with a Canon 1D MK II with a 24-70mm f2.8 zoom. All have been edited and / or resized with Photoshop CS.
