Photographs of 30th Annual
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The 30th annual Gas & Steam Engine Show & Flea Market was held on April 25, 2004. I had visited previous shows with either Josh, Adam or Jed but this time I was going it alone & hoping to find some photo opportunities. The event is held at Firemans Field on Route 16. I went by motorcycle with my camera bag & tripod and to be perfectly honest I thought I had riden right out of East Hampton. The field seemed like it was nearly to Norwich! All types of old machinery & parts were on display along with many working / running engines. One of the most interesting pieces on display was a 1930 era wooden model boat about 3-1/2 feet long powered by an eight cylinder engine. The following pages contain photographs I took while wandering around the field. Unless otherwise noted they were all taken with a Canon 10D & 24-70mm f2.8 zoom. All were taken while tripod mounted and have been edited by Paint Shop Pro. |
