The Southington High School Football team played Cheshire High in their traditional Thanksgiving Day game on Fontana Field at the Southington High School. This 9th annual Apple Classic was played on an extremely muddy field under omniously threatening skies. The forcasted rain, however, did not come and the game was played in unusually warm temperatures. For the 4th straight year Southington came away with the win and now hold a 5-4 edge in the series. The 28-14 final score capped Southington's 8-2 season but neither team is headed to the state playoffs. This was senior day for Southington and the players and their parents were honored on the field before the kickoff.

The following photographs were taken at the team breakfast, Thanksgiving morning, at the Pepper Pot Restaurant and on the field.

All photos were shot using a Canon 1D MK II.
They have all been post processed with Photoshop CS.
